Winston Hotel - Pasay
First hotel that I went in with my girlfriend. It's a few minutes walk from the Victory Liner Pasay Terminal.
Winston Hotel Background
Winston Hotel just opened last 2013. They also have a sister company which is the "Mahal Kita" Hotel.You can get a room for as low as P395.00 for three hours on their Taxi Room which is good for 2 People.Getting In
It has a lot of entrances. There's the side entrances and also the front entrance for cars and motorcycles.
The Main Entrance. Take note that this hotel doesn't have any lobbies. It has, however, some kind of a checkpoint where a person behind the counter have all the keys for each room. If you went in by walking, you should go up to them and tell them what room you'll get. If you're driving-in then you should tell the guard which room, otherwise they'll give you a Taxi Room by default.You'll be asked to sit on the couches first inside the building as they ready your room keys.
Stay Durations
You have a lot of options to choose from. Short Time (3hr stay), 5 Hour Special, Morning Special (8hrs), Overnight Special (12 hrs), and 24 Hrs.
Room options are Taxi Room,Garage Room, Deluxe 1, Deluxe 2, VIP, and Family Room.
Prices ranges from P335 to P1,540.
Other room options have it's own check-in time, but the others, you can check in anytime.
Room Assesment
As soon as you get to the place, if they already have a room available, you will be immediately escorted to the room. If not, they will ask you to wait first on the couches and escort you once there's an available room.
The buildings doesn't have an elevator so you have to go up by using the stairs. The buildings are really clean and quiet.
Room Review
The rooms are clean. We took the VIP Room. We got two packs of tissues, one small bar of soap, two towels, one extra blanket, ash tray, three remote controls (Aircon, TV, Cat V Box), a Box-type TV, a bed that is good for two, two pillows.
It has free wi-fi but you have to ask the login credentials from the counter.
The comfort room is pretty big because my girlfriend and I can fit and have a shower together.
They don't have free toothbrush and toothpaste though, which pretty sucks. Good thing we brought our own.
They have cold and warm (yes warm) water in the shower though which is good.
Conclusion
The Hotel is good and comes with an affordable price. I'd rate it 7/10. It's also close to bus terminals and they can even transport you to the airport for a small price instead of getting a Taxi. If you're hungry, the food places are really close. You can also just order food from them because they also have their own restaurant and the menu is located near the telephone just beside the bed.
